For me, it works to be very specific. I feel that 'prepare for a presentation' is quite generic, as preparing can be endless.

I would prefer a more concrete definition of done. For example, if it's a PowerPoint presentation I'm preparing, it can be:

- Have a draft ready to sent X for review, Or

- Finish the final rehearsal - not looking at the presentation again before the meeting

Yes! Those kind of things like "Preparing a presentation" can be seen as a project with many little tasks, instead of something you never finish.

Having a clear DoD also helps you feel you are making progress!
