If you were already a sub, the link is in the email I sent when publishing!

If you were not, you should have received it after subscribing.

Check your Substack DMs, I've just sent it there just in case!

I think yesterday I was harnessing without knowing it in my personal app.

The challenge I faced was that after setting up husky to run unit tests and e2e tests before any commit, I run out of capacity pretty quickly.

Then I decided to

1. Move it out of AI scope (CI) and moved it to the deployments (CD)

2. Add instructions in AGENTS.md for the agent to only test the related tests with the change and the new tests implemented.

I guess there is a process of token optimization we need to do in order to scale.

I think about it like solving any leetcode interview. We can start with the brute-force solution but then when thinking deeper we see the optimizations.

Maybe about tests it’s useful to keep them at the left (before commit) and try to run it with a deterministic command instead of AI having to consume a lot of tokens (?) I’m not familiar with husky so probably I’m missing things 🙃

The link for people already subscribed was in the email I sent out yesterday!

Sent you a substack DM anyway :)

Can you check if you got the welcome email in a spam/promotions folder? I saw that email clients like gmail are putting it in that folder :(
