Yes. I think most other jobs are easier to replace than software engineers. Just that we are the earliest adopters of any technology, so changes seem to happen first in software engineering than anywhere else.
I'd rather be a software engineer that gets laid off and creates a company using AI than a <fill in the blank> that is happily working until it's too late and they didn't see it coming
